App Defense Alliance (ADA) Mobile Application Security Assessment

Google recently launched a mandatory Safety Labeling program for all Android developers publishing apps in Google Play. We'll unpack this requirement, including a common standard central to evaluating compliance, OWASP MASVS Level 1. We'll also introduce the newly minted App Defense Alliance (ADA), which is a consortium of providers that allows organizations an objective way to earn an Independent Security Review label through the Mobile App Security Assessment (MASA).
